Finally … you can now register for 2 competitions during the INTERflame Strandrace 2022  on October 7-9, 2022 and… you can also register for the Baja Hardenberg!!

What can you expect, the traditional beach race in the new successful packaging of 2021 and even more exciting areas of  improvement:

On the 1^st of August the organisation of the INTERflame Strandrace 2022 will open the registration. Mark the date in your agenda, in 2022 we will only have 40 places available! Full = Full.

What can you expect in 2022, of course the longer fast track. Return of the marathon stages and a whole lot of fun. New in 2022 will be the prologue, have the track for your self to set a fast time.

In just 3 days we will be racing over the beach. Off course participating is more important than winning! But…. everybody will want to know how well they have done and what position they have finished.

Not registered yet, no problem, just don’t postpone it!!! We will close the registration for the INTERflame Strandrace 2021 on September 26. We ask for your understanding because that gives us 5 days to complete all the administration…

We have received information from the KNAF regarding the licenses required to participate in the INTERflame strandrace.

in just 2 days you can finally register for the INTERflame beach race 2021. We will be celebrating this mile-stone with a party, an on-line party. During this on-line event we launch the registration not  for1 but 2 great Dutch offroad races! The organization of the INTERflame Beach Race is proud of the collaboration with the organization team of the Roompot Baja Borger, this collaboration makes it easier for the teams.

At eight o’clock (20:00) next Thursday evening, July 15th, Bert Heskes, NTA, Hans Weder, organization Strandrace IJmuiden and Herre van Goor, organization  Roompot Baja Borger, will inform drivers, officials, press and other people involved about these great races, the progress and the registration. and ff course there will also be time to ask questions.

On this date we open the registration for the INTERflame beach race!! We are sure that it has not gone unnoticed that life in the Netherlands we are steadily returning to a normal!! Not all Corona measures are something of the past, but its looking good… so good that the organization of the INTERflame Beach Race has decided to open registration on July 15th.

Who doesn’t want to experience this exciting and unique race, the tension before the start and then 2 (!!!) kilometers flat out along the tide line .. fighting with the loose sand and as can be expected there will be a fantastic jump again this year. If your racing heart is now beating faster, keep a close eye on this website, on July 15 you can secure your entry!!!

Don’t feel like camping or you don’t want to drive home after a day of racing at the INTERflame beach race? Perhaps a minihouse at the Basecamp might be something for you. Basecamp IJmuiden is adjacent to the service park of the IJmuiden Strandrace and has a number of houses available. Don’t waste time booking as there are only a small number of houses available.

The service park, as we know it, has been subject to considerable development.  As a result, there is less space available for us in the service park. For this reason, passenger cars will not be allowed on the service park (so also not at the houses). Passenger cars will be parked in the large parking area at all times.

It still seems a long way ahead; 2-3 October 2021, but in just under 4 months we at last hope to wave the starting flag on the beach of IJmuiden for the start of the (in the meantime renamed)  INTERflame Beachrace 2021…..

Life is opening up and the signs are positive, the organization is excited and last Sunday the 6th of June, the organization picked up the thread again. The script has been updated, the permits have been requested and the tasks have been divided, we are getting ready. Behind the scenes, the organization has been active, so we can confidently say that we are off to a flying start.

We are on a roll and highly motivated  we will continue along the route mapped out last year, the traditional beach race with a number of innovations such as the marathon stages. A total of 11 stages with 3 marathon stages, more than 200 kilometres at speed and no connections where else can you find a race like that!!
